Biography
Ms. Lynch is admitted to practice law before the U.S. District Court Eastern and Northern Districts of California, and all of California State Courts. Ms. Lynch defends public entities and school districts. She also defends civil rights and sex abuse defense cases.
Ms. Lynch is a member of the California Women Lawyers, Fresno County Women Lawyers, Fresno County Bar Association and served as chair of both the Attorney Referral Service Committee and Fee Arbitration Committee from 2022 through 2025, Federal Bar Association, member of the Eastern District Conference Planning Committee from 2023 through 2026, The San Joaquin Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, Fresno Chambers of Commerce and Fresno Women’s Network.
Ms. Lynch is an active member of several community and legal organizations and is past President and was head of public relations for the San Joaquin Chapter of Liga International (aka “The Flying Doctors of Mercy”). Ms. Lynch was on the Fresno National Women’s Political Caucus board in 2012.
Ms. Lynch received the Fresno County Women Lawyers’ Pauline Hanson Award in 2004, for extraordinary service to the community, the legal profession, and particularly to the advancement of women and for professional excellence. In 2005, Ms. Lynch received the Fresno County Young Lawyers’ Judge Blaine Pettitt Mentor award, and in 2006, she received the Marjaree Mason Center’s “Top Ten Business Professional Women of the Year” award. In October of 2011 and 2014, Ms. Lynch was recognized by Central California Legal Services with the State Bar of California, Board of Governors Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services for voluntary provision of legal services to the poor. On May 21, 2014, the Better Business Bureau of Central California and Inland Empire honored Karen L. Lynch, Inc. A Profession Law Corporation with the 8th Annual 2014 Torch Award for Marketplace Excellence, as an outstanding small local for-profit business, when she had her own firm, that has demonstrated a commitment to the highest ethical standards a business can have, both in operations and in terms of integrity, reliability and responsiveness to employees, vendors and customers which is the first time a law firm has been recognized. On Law Day May 1, 2015, Ms. Lynch was recognized by the Fresno County Bar Association, Pro Bono Services Section, as Attorney of the Year for her superior leadership, dedication and commitment to increase access to justice. Ms. Lynch is AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated with Martindale-Hubbell. She was selected for inclusion in the Northern California Super Lawyers list (2021-2023).
